And he gave other scary statistics which looked at accident attribution in areas where human-computer interaction is beginning to feature significantly. But the problem is twofold - tackling the interface issues implied by these statistics, and also, perhaps more fundamentally, tackling recognition - both amongst researchers and the wider world.
